Holly-Kate Foss

Previously doing business as Sweet Pea Events in Seattle, I decided to follow my dreams and start my own event planning company. With over 5 years of Wedding Planning and 10 years of Corporate Event Planning in the Seattle area, I continue to bring friendliness and respect to the wedding industry. I get so much delight in helping couples with their wedding planning and relieving things off their “to do” list.

I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor Degree in Business, then moved to Seattle where I worked in recruiting and marketing for a Fortune 500 company. That experience ignited a passion for being a part of many premier events in the Pacific Northwest.

I pride myself in offering personal attention during the planning phase, helping the clients to fine-tune their vision for their special event. My attentiveness to each aspect of an event really shows on the event day!

Why I enjoy working on Weddings:

That is a hard question to answer! For me, there is just such a special moment & emotion around watching a bride walk down the aisle towards her soon to be husband. Especially when you have developed a relationship with the bride along the way of planning her wedding day. I really enjoy sneaking a couple into their wedding reception before their guests enter the room, they get to see all the hard work and details come together. What a true delight! My favorite part of the day is being able to help the bride & groom, family, and friends enjoy the evening while I take care of all the details and do the running around.

On a more personal side:

I married my best Friend, Kyle, whom I met going into the sixth grade at church camp. We even wrote letters to each other starting in sixth grade through high school, we never dated until College. I have two little boys in my life who keep me laughing and on my toes everyday. I truly enjoy running & trail running with my training partner Kuma, a 6-year-old crazy chocolate lab. You will often see me running around Green Lake. I just finished my first ultra race, called a 50k or 31 Miler in Bellingham called Chuckanut. This was a lifetime goal of mine. I drink at least two cups of coffee a day, can’t live without it! I love bundling up at the beach, gardening and being outside rain or shine!
